Served as the designated broker for four offices in the State of Florida (Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Miami/Fort Lauderdale) that created a book of business valued at $560M and annual revenue of $54.6M (as reported publicly).  Responsible for the daily operations, leadership, and staff management of a fast growing portfolio for a publicly traded REIT.
 

Responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for the investment portfolio in a specific geographic region, including: maximizing value, minimizing risk, monitoring leasing, evaluating capitalization rates and other property level activities, managing third party relationships, monitoring fund liquidity, and addressing other issues that arise at both the asset and fund levels.

Manged a real estate investment firm that specialized in REOs; purchasing properties at public auction for the purpose of re-selling the houses for a profit.  Owned and managed the entire project life cycle: from initial research through final sale.  Company operated profitably in a declining market since its inception. 

 

Held P & L responsibilities for residential investments.  Handled initial comparative marketing analysis for purchases, analysis of market trends and indicators for six regions, auction bidding, financing, legal procedures, budgets for renovation and build projects, and producing financial statements.

1999-2005

 

Managed full software development life cycle (design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation) for consumer facing applications featured on FannieMae.com and related third party websites.  Responsible for overall budget, scope documents (SOW), requirements, risk assessments, specifications, schedules, and change requests.

 

Spearheaded the creation of a new technology tool that allowed the company to place co-branded Internet content on partner sites (e.g., Bank of America, Fifth Third, and GMAC).  Partners were able to use consumer facing co-branded applications and content.
